Background

This retail business company, which boasted a sizeable staff of over a thousand individuals including regional outlet managers, branch employees and logistics personnel, required the development of a large-scale CRM/ERP system to digitize both customer information and its product selection.

The Challenges

Prior to initiating the project, we determined the essential tasks that required execution:

  1. Conduct an evaluation of the company's operations using multiple factors.
  2. Formulate an idea for a project.
  3. Carry out a thorough development of all operational components of the project.
  4. Design the UI/UX of the CRM/ERP system to guarantee the smoothest user experience with the project.
  5. Integrate with the customer's e-commerce initiatives.
  6. Implementing the project technically, including the front part and the user's personal account which is a substantial functional component of the project.

The Process

The Promodex group chose to carry out the project in the following steps:

  1. Perform niche and competitor analysis to identify strengths and weaknesses.
  2. Analyze the Ukrainian market to identify the most responsive audience for the future typical solution.
  3. Create a project concept and work out a CRM/ERP system.
  4. Work out the UI/UX of the project based on the analytics.
  5. Implement CRM/ERP design following modern web design trends and taking into account the mobile version of the system.
  6. Implement the required work pool on the front-end and back-end parts.
  7. Develop the following CRM/ERP parts:
    1. Call planner and accounting of customer calls in connection with digital PBX.
    2. Multifunctional dashboard for every type of user.
    3. Order management in conjunction with more than a dozen of the client's online stores based on different frameworks.
    4. Client management module.
    5. Module for analysis of prices and nomenclature of suppliers.
    6. Supply forecasting module based on current balances and demand for certain goods of past periods.
    7. Corporate chat system.
    8. Automatic billing system.
    9. The module of detailed statistics on interaction with each client.
    10. Price list template for partners and retail chains.
    11. Quality control of managers' calls with the ability to listen to call recordings through the CRM interface.
    12. Integration with the company's corporate mail server.
    13. Report Builder
    14. Internal analytics system for sales, deliveries, price dynamics, traffic to the client's online stores, etc.
    15. Corporate knowledge base.
    16. Monitoring changes in the price lists of suppliers and competitors.
    17. Automated generation of price lists in PDF, CSV, and XLS formats.
    18. Report on the movement of goods.
    19. Report on mutual settlements with contractors.
    20. Formation of transport and logistics routes.
    21. Billing module payments and settlements with full-time and freelance employees.
  8. Develop the following CRM/ERP user types:
    1. Call center operator.
    2. Sales manager.
    3. Warehouse manager.
    4. Storekeeper.
    5. Forwarder.
    6. Logistician.
    7. Supply manager.
    8. Accountant.
    9. Financial director.
    10. Head of Sales Department.
    11. Head of the supply department.
    12. Director of the company.
  9. Test the project, including load tests, usability, performance, and security.
  10. To promote the project on the future SaaS solution in the Ukrainian market.

Deliverables & Impacts

The Promodex team accomplished the task of integrating a turnkey solution within 160 business days: from receiving the client's request to the introduction of the CRM to the Laravel framework Currently, the project is ongoing, and includes ongoing technical assistance.

  2. Sales management;
  3. Management of receipts/expenses;
  4. Accounting and analysis of sales of goods, products, and services;
  5. Maintaining mutual settlements with buyers or suppliers;

  8. Employee management: accrual of salaries, fines, etc.
