Google advertising for a cleaning company
Clean for you or Clean4u is a local cleaning company. It provides services of cleaning apartments and furniture in Odessa, Ukraine.
The client requested the Shapoval agency to develop a landing page. The peculiarity of the company was the use of only hypoallergenic products and a professional team with huge experience.
We analyzed competitors and collected best practices, which we then used for the new site. For example, on the first screen, we showed discounts from a company. We also developed blocks with photos before and after cleaning, with the cost of services and reviews, as this affects the user's decision.
Some companies have been present on the market for many years, they are in the TOP of Google search, so we suggested running Google Ads. But the client refused the service and decided to set up advertising himself.
A month later, the client contacted us, as he was so dissatisfied with the results of the promotion.
First of all we analyzed data on the results of advertising. During the month, $100 was spent and 12 leads were received. There was a low percentage of ad impressions, low CTR. We realized that a very low CPC and budget was set and the campaign has a low rating.
What we have done to improve results:
- created a new search campaign.
- selected new keywords, put them into groups, create ads with all possible extensions to meet user requests and be as visible as possible in the search.

- increased budget and raised bids to be competitive.
- regularly optimized campaigns.
- run remarketing campaign with a special time-limited offer to increase the conversion from advertising.
We managed to achieve a CTR of 19.86% and get more than 90% of the received impressions in the auction. In 2 months we spent $920 and received 257 leads. The average CPL was $3.57 (without our participation it was $8.33)
