About the project
Іis an online store of hookahs, tobacco, coal and other hookah accessories. The site offers products from a wide range of manufacturers: hookahs, high-quality, original tobacco and blends, all the necessary accessories, related products and components - hoses, flasks, mouthpieces, bowls, calaudas, coals, a wide selection of electronic hookahs, as well as exotic products - smoking stones and syrups for them.
The peculiarity of this niche is the presence in the assortment of products prohibited for sale on the Internet.

Overall strategy
The domain of the online store was blocked and we had no access to it. We needed to launch the site on the new domain as soon as possible and "return" organic traffic.
After the site was transferred, there was a problem with very low page indexing speed. We developed and implemented a new design for the online store and carried out technical optimization of the site, set up a page re-indexing service, which improved the quality and speed of page indexing.
The number of pages in the Google index doubled (1600/3300). Correcting errors in the site code and setting up the CMS allowed us to get better Web Core Vitals and page loading speeds.
After researching the semantic core, we identified priority query groups for promotion. We identified pages that needed to be improved for search engine optimization and those that needed to be created.
What was done
Semantics
Keyword research was conducted, semantic clusters were identified and created, and groups of pages were distributed based on the topics and keywords they cover. This allowed us to check and optimize pages for search engine optimization.
In addition to optimizing the existing categories and subcategories of the catalog, new sections were created and filter pages were optimized. This allowed us to increase the number of key phrases and pages that are ranked in search.
Content
After OnPage checked the optimization of the site's pages, meta tags were optimized, search-optimized, relevant photo and video materials were added.
As a result, the site's visibility in search has improved due to the growth of low-frequency queries to the TOP-3, TOP-10 and high-frequency queries to the TOP-20.
Currently, we have an increase in the number of visitors from search, from optimized product pages that are highly converting, and thus we have an increase in website conversion - an increase in the number of orders from the website by 350%.
A content plan has also been developed and is being worked on to fill the site's blog with new materials.
Expanding the structure
The site structure was expanded by SEO optimization of the catalog filter pages and based on the semantic research. The CMS of the site was configured for search engine optimization of pagination pages, filters and sorts.
According to the created content plan, work is underway to create new information pages in the site's blog.
Link profile
As a result of research and analysis of external link profiles of the site and the main competitors, a strategy for recruiting and maintaining the link mass of the site was created.
Outreach is used to obtain external links and select the highest quality donors. The platforms for placing links to the site were chosen from thematic donor domains to obtain dynamic weight in the form of conversions in addition to static weight.
